A
Fresh Chapter's revolutionary new
Global Emerging Leaders program is the first immersive, peer-to-peer cross-cultural advocacy initiative of its kind. For two weeks in Kenya, our Fellows will play a leadership role in locally-led cancer awareness and education events, volunteer in Kenyan communities, experience AFC’s innovative psychosocial support model, and participate in the initial discovery and development phase of an AFC Toolkit adapted for Kenya. This program is the first in a broader 5-year initiative which, by 2025, aims to touch a minimum of 10,000 Kenyans impacted by cancer.
Donations will be used to cover the participant's travel expenses. All additional money raised over and above the travel expenses will be allocated to AFC's Scholarship Fund.
Known as A Fresh Chapter [AFC], the legal entities associated with AFC include: Fresh Chapter Alliance Foundation, a Canadian not-for-profit corporation (“FCAF”), and Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs ("SEE"), Inc., a 501(c)(3) California nonprofit public benefit corporation and a fiscal sponsor to FCAF. Donations earmarked for a specific individual are NOT eligible for a tax receipt.
