Fresh Chapter's Peru Odyssey Program offers an innovative support model that blends volunteering, meaningful travel, and the support, tools and resources for cancer survivors to reframe adversity and redefine what’s possible in their lives. For two weeks in November 2019, our participants will travel to Peru with fellow cancer survivors. While there, they will volunteer with local organizations that provide support to cancer patients, the elderly, underserved children, or those living with disabilities. They will also get to experience AFC’s innovative psychosocial support model exploring the emotional impact of cancer. They will return home with new perspective, leadership skills, and the opportunity to continue to give back in their local communities.
Donations will be used to cover program related costs. If your employer participates in a matching program you can submit a match for your donation. Please choose the charity "Fresh Chapter Alliance Foundation via SOCIAL & ENVIRONMENTAL ENTREPRENEURS SEE INC." Please add a note with the participant's name when you submit the company match.
Known as A Fresh Chapter [AFC], the legal entities associated with AFC include: Fresh Chapter Alliance Foundation, a Canadian not-for-profit corporation (“FCAF”), and Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs ("SEE"), Inc., a 501(c)(3) California nonprofit public benefit corporation and a fiscal sponsor to FCAF. Donations earmarked for a specific individual are NOT eligible for a tax receipt.
