A FRESH CHAPTER'S 2019 PERU ODYSSEY PROGRAM

by A Fresh Chapter

Tricia Rausch

I have been chosen to participate in A Fresh Chapter's 2019 Peru Odyssey Program.  For two weeks in November, I will travel to Peru with fellow cancer survivors.  While there, we will volunteer with local organizations that provide support to cancer patients, the elderly, underserved children, and those living with disabilities. I will also get to experience AFC’s innovative psychosocial support model exploring the emotional impact of cancer.  I will return home with a new perspective, leadership skills, and the opportunity to continue to give back in my community, especially with Tricia's Hope, INC.

I am thankful to have been selected to participate in the Peru Odyssey Program as a Fellowship Recipient.  As a Fellow, I will be given the opportunity to continue to work with AFC in the year following the Peru trip, contributing to the development of their amazing programs.   The Fellowship also includes a scholarship to assist with the expenses of the Odyssey because AFC recognizes and appreciates the support you, my local community, continue to show Tricia's Hope, INC.  Donations will only be used to cover my airfare.  All additional money raised will be allocated to AFC's Scholarship Fund.
